The Texas Department of Public Safety Vehicle Inspection requires that all vehicles registered in the state must undergo annual emission (exemption in some counties) and safety inspections once in a year. The Texas DPS passenger car inspectors follow a checklist while conducting an annual safety inspection. During the process, the inspector checks your vehicle’s operation, visibility, horns, windshield wipers, mirrors, steering, and seat belts, and brake system parking.
While the inspection-list may vary by vehicle class, here is a partial list of commonly inspected items during a Texas vehicle inspection.
Texas Vehicle Inspection Station Near San Antonio | Mercedes-Benz of Boerne
Quick and easy! I had the wrong day and they still got me in with no problems!
This location has associates who care about the customer and are willing to be of assistance. I generally have costly repair to my vehicle and they never made me feel as if I was just another dollar walking through the door. This location really does a good job of seeing the person behind the wheel to this point in our journey.
I could not be more pleased! Incredible helpful , I feel so very well taken care off! I like the way this Company communicates with me. My service adviser is absolutely wonderful! Thank you Eddy!
Good communication, good customer service, good mechanical service. I know this dealership takes extra care and presents all options.
Emergency roadside repair needed driving through Boerne, Tx. Road debris punctured a hole in our battery radiator which was leaking coolant. Another unnamed valet there refused to assist, ignored us and when his assistance was requested, refused to do so. He was busy scrolling through his phone. Emergency roadside repair needed driving through Boerne, Tx. Road debris punctured a hole in our battery radiator which was leaking coolant. They replaced it ($2500), were efficient and informative with the work. Must give Javier Rojas honorable mention. He took great care of us, helping us with luggage to and from a rental car (since we needed to stay overnight), was very attentive and informative. Another unnamed valet there refused to assist, ignored us and when his assistance was requested, refused to do so. He was busy scrolling through his phone. We brought this to the dealer's attention with hopes for improvement. Loved the video tech analysis, but had a long wait for the loaner car. Seems they forgot about us until I had to press them.
The service bay was meticulous.
Overall, we are grateful for their working our emergency into their existing schedule and mention the negatives only to help them improve in those areas.
